I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon since 2008, and I have decades of experience working with couples and individuals in community mental health and private practice. During that time, I’ve had experience offering collaborative therapy with a diverse range of individuals and couples.

In addition to working with clients, for over 15 years I taught at Portland State’s Graduate School of Social Work. As part of my work, I have provided training and clinical consultation to local and state agencies for over two decades, including individual and group CSWA supervision.

My clients have described me as authentic, humorous, and easy to be around. Life is challenging for many, and I strive to create a safe environment that supports people in their therapeutic journey, helping them navigate life in a way that brings them meaning and contentment.

Many couples feel apprehensive and defensive when considering therapy. Often they start therapy when they are facing intense challenges to their partnership. I know it takes bravery to discuss personal issues with a stranger, especially if those things have been kept private or never discussed between the partners. When couples come to see me, they can expect to be accepted, supported, and challenged. I treat the relationship as my client, and it is the relationship that the three of us will work on together.

Whether you are considering therapy as an individual or as a couple, I look forward to meeting you!
