At times life can present a lack of clarity and confusion, but it is vital to remember that these moments are just that, moments. I’m dedicated to the art of connection, attunement, intimacy and love. My role is to provide an environment that is accepting, supportive and safe, while simultaneously promoting healing and growth.

I’m experienced with helping couples break the repetitive negative patterns and cycles that have interfered with the closeness and trust of the relationship. I’m committed to helping people express themselves, so that they can gain stability and strength within the relationships that matter most. I’m skilled at helping couples navigate affairs, poor communication, disconnection, misunderstandings, and high conflict – understanding that these situations cause feelings of isolation, disconnection, and pain.

I can help you break dysfunctional ways of interacting and help you discover intimacy, connection, understanding, peace, enjoyment and satisfaction in your relationship.  In addition to my work with couples, I specialize in working with women and men who struggle in the areas of anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, family of origin issues, low self esteem and grief/loss.  Whatever it is that you are struggling with, I can help.

My counseling approach is engaging and calming, with a bit of humor and wit. Growing up in Connecticut, I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have additional training in Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method for working with couples, and rely on my training in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and narrative therapies when working with individuals.

Entering into therapy takes courage and strength and I believe in each person innate ability to heal, change and grow.

I work with clients who are residents of the state of Oregon.

During my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, playing pickleball and hiking with our dog, Cooper.
